This shift in philosophy feels appropriate for the IP. While Agent 47 is a cold, patient stalker, the 007 legacy is built on breathless chases and explosive set pieces. It appears IO Interactive is focused on honoring the core identity of the Bond brand by trading methodical deliberation for kinetic energy.
Interestingly, 007: First Light will also venture into uncharted territory by occasionally slowing down: “Players may be surprised by how impactful the quieter, more atmospheric moments truly are.”
