Community Content Exhibit Vol. 14

Attention Officers, both veterans and newcomers!

Warm holiday greetings and best wishes for a Happy New Year to all!

This initial community letter of the year addresses quite a variety of topics, which is why we will be dividing it into two sections. In this part, we’ll share some encouraging and grateful messages from our team, discuss last year’s standout mods, and delve into some intriguing insights from our Survey.

Let us begin with a few words from our Level team:

From the Team

As level designers, we dedicate a substantial amount of time to every detail, aiming to create segments that you find enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding. It’s an absolute thrill to witness you maneuver through these challenges in your own unique manner.

Kudos to all the RoN custom mappers whose dedication and perseverance in updating your levels are greatly appreciated. Every RoN fan applauds your efforts!
Finally, Merry Christmas to all of you!!!
I eagerly anticipate unveiling what we have in store for you next year!

Every suggestion, critique, and shout-out inspires us to enhance Ready or Not. Thank you for your continued support, for being a vital part of this incredible community, and for making this journey so gratifying. Here’s to another year brimming with updates, mods, and surprises yet to unfold!

Survey Data Preview

We received an astounding Sixteen Thousand responses to our survey, with a significant portion originating from Steam itself. While there is some data we cannot disclose due to marketing and privacy considerations, there are key insights we can share, including the distribution of game modes.

When we released Home Invasion, we were surprised by the fervor of our player base for Commander Mode; the 1:2 ratio of Commander players was indeed unexpected. We took this into account with Dark Waters, ensuring that the new maps were ready upon release.

We also collected hardware data independently rather than relying solely on the Steam Hardware Survey, however, it appears to have aligned well with it. For those interested, you’re welcome to check it out here!

Remarkable Mods

Unsurprisingly, the reigning champion mod of 2024 was the Esteemed Gunfighter Gameplay Improvement Mod!

Jerry’s shooter preferences, coupled with a wide array of options, resonate greatly with our player community, achieving an impressive one hundred forty-five thousand downloads as a unique New Game+ experience. We conducted a brief interview with Jerry, which you can find here!
