Sandfall has already demonstrated its ability to punch well above its weight class, producing a high-fidelity experience that rivals many AAA studios. Industry veteran Adrian Chmielarz recently noted that his “entire worldview was shaken” after discovering that the sophisticated Expedition 33 was largely the work of a relatively fresh-faced team.
This efficiency is precisely why Sandfall feels no urgency to increase its headcount; the current internal chemistry is already yielding exceptional results.
“In terms of team synergy, everyone is intimately familiar with one another’s workflow,” Guillermin added. “We are fortunate to have built a solid foundation with this project, but expansion for its own sake simply isn’t part of our philosophy.
“Our goal is to deliver premium gaming experiences, and we don’t believe a massive staff is a prerequisite for quality. While large teams can achieve great things, our current size is where we operate best. We have no desire to disrupt our established structure or team dynamics.”
