ChatGPT can now be used without an account
From today, users in certain countries can directly begin a dialog with the chatbot with nearly full functionality when they visit chatgpt.com. Over time, this new feature will be rolled out worldwide.
Without logging into an account, you will not be able to save or share your chats, nor use your own instructions. If necessary, users can log in to their account to access all features.
The primary reason OpenAI has offered this possibility is to train its language model using user chats. However, you can opt out of using your chats for learning: to do this, click on the question mark in the bottom right corner, go to “Settings,” and disable this feature there.
