Casio introduced a toy guinea pig with artificial intelligence
The toy, named Moflin, can shake its head in various ways, imitating different emotions: happiness, anxiety, melancholy, or others. However, it cannot move around.
The toy pet gradually “gets used to” its owner: initially, only a limited number of emotions are available, but over time, more become accessible. After a few weeks of interaction, Moflin will start to demand attention and even sing.
The toy will be available for sale in Japan at a price of ~$400 (~38,300 ₽) with gray and peach artificial fur. A grooming service will also be available there: cleaning the fur will be costly — ~$80 (~7,700 ₽).
