GTA Online Research: GTA Online Players Are Not the Smartest Among Gamers

The WhichBingo portal conducted a study among 1,002 adult video game enthusiasts to determine which game’s audience is the smartest in four disciplines: verbal communication, visual thinking, logic, and mathematics. Those who play GTA 5 (read: GTA Online) ranked 16th— their IQ level (an average of 96.8 points) falls within the average development range (91-110), but is lower compared to many other gamers.

Other conclusions reached by the organizers state that female gamers are slightly smarter than male gamers (107.9 versus 105.8), and in terms of platform preference, PC owners have the highest IQ level—114.1. The lowest is among mobile gaming enthusiasts (99.9).
