Call of Duty 2021: Insider Gives Clues, Back to World War II!

It’s the same catchphrase every time: As soon as the new, dated Call of Duty episode comes out, right away, our eyes are on the future and the next iteration of the series. Also, when insiders start talking and letting go of the cookie, our ears are bound to be strained. This is exactly what just happened since a certain Victor_Z started talking on Twitter. Known for its many leaks, most of which later turned out to be true, Victor_Z may well have revealed the timing of the next Call of Duty, as well as the studio that is said to be developing it. According to the insider, it is Sledgehammer Games which is at work at the moment, as evidenced by this hammer emote which obviously refers to the name of the studio.

As for the photo accompanying the symbol, we see a very famous artwork from the WW2 episode, released in 2017 and which had been developed by Sledgehammer Games. It was also the last game developed by the studio, since its setbacks with Activision and the departure of its two thinking heads: Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey. If it is always necessary to take the tweezers of rigor, know that the return of Sledgehammer to the controls of a Call of is not a surprise in itself, the studio having done nothing since the episode WW2, released there is almost 4 years old. In any case, in one of his responses to his main tweet, he is categorical, it is back to the time of Hitler’s army, with undoubtedly a gameplay boots on the ground.
