Ahead of lights out at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Beyoncé and Jay‑Z stopped by the track to meet Lewis Hamilton — a moment Beyoncé later celebrated on Instagram.
On Tuesday, November 25, 2025 — two days after the race — Beyoncé posted a carousel of photos documenting the encounter, including shots of the couple in conversation with Hamilton and a clip of the driver taking the multi‑Grammy winner for a lap in a Ferrari. The trio shared smiles and easy conversation as Beyoncé turned up the glamour in an F1‑inspired jumpsuit.
Beyoncé’s caption paid tribute to the driver, writing, “Love and gratitude to the best to ever do it! Lewis Hamilton #44!” Hamilton ultimately finished eighth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which saw Max Verstappen take victory ahead of George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.
She also uploaded footage of her time in Las Vegas — walking the Strip, enjoying race‑week festivities and the moment Hamilton chauffeured her around the circuit, captioning one clip, “Give it to Mama!”
Beyoncé and Jay‑Z were among a long list of celebrities who flocked to the event, which continues to draw high‑profile attendees. Travis Scott, Cynthia Erivo, Magic Johnson, Brooks Nader, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta‑Jones, Gordon Ramsay, Ciara and Ben Affleck were also on site, demonstrating how deeply F1 has penetrated mainstream culture.
This season’s attention to F1 has only grown: earlier in the fall the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin attracted stars such as Adele, Shaboozey, Matthew McConaughey, Jay Leno and Glen Powell, with live sets from Kygo, Garth Brooks and the Turnpike Troubadours. In June, a feature film centered on F1 starring Brad Pitt opened in theatres, further underscoring the sport’s crossover appeal.
Williams Racing’s Alex Albon summed up the trend by noting that modern Grands Prix are as much entertainment spectacles as sporting events, and that the presence of major celebrities enhances the atmosphere for fans and competitors alike.
