Limited-Time Seasonal Experiences
Season 2 centers on the emergence of VL-7, a psychoactive smoke agent infiltrating various warzones. Squads must prioritize tactical resource management, specifically gas masks and filters, to survive these hazardous environments across Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Gauntlet.
- VL-7 Strike: Combatants must navigate zones saturated with psychoactive gas. Monitoring filter integrity is vital; depletion results in severe disorientation and vulnerability.
- Battle Royale – Synthesis: A dense chemical fog has enveloped Fort Lyndon. Survival depends on looting specialized filters while battling through contaminated sectors.
- Gauntlet: Altered State: The high-stakes elimination format returns. Squads must complete high-pressure objectives while contending with the encroaching VL-7 haze.
New Hardware & Equipment
Aerial Vehicle:
- AH-6 Little Bird: The legendary NATO attack helicopter returns, offering unmatched agility and devastating firepower for skilled pilots.
Arsenal Expansion:
- M121 A2: A powerhouse belt-fed machine gun that dominates close-range suppressive fire.
- GRT-CPS: A high-capacity, semi-automatic Marksman Rifle optimized for sustained precision at distance.
- VCR-2: A rapid-fire compact assault rifle designed for peak performance in tight quarters.
Tactical Gadgets:
- 9K38 IGLA: A sophisticated anti-air missile system requiring active guidance for superior target tracking.
- HTI-Mk2: A multi-purpose Recon tool capable of exposing enemy gadgets, hijacking drones, and intercepting incoming rockets.

General Improvements & Quality of Life
Update 1.2.1.0 implements over 240 refinements based on player data and community feedback. These updates target gunplay mechanics, traversal fluidity, vehicle balance, and UI reliability.
Major Systemic Updates:
- Refined Recoil Mechanics: A comprehensive tuning pass has been applied to automatic weapons to ensure consistent handling and distinct roles across all engagement ranges.
- Fluid Traversal: Refined acceleration curves and jump behaviors make soldier movement more predictable. Vaulting logic and ladder animations have been improved for both first- and third-person perspectives.
- Vehicle & Gadget Optimization: Resolved persistent issues with anti-vehicle interactions, drone performance, and damage feedback.
- UI & HUD Overhaul: Introducing a new comprehensive Statistics screen in the Player Profile. HUD clarity has been improved for the Battle Pass and End-of-Round sequences.
- Portal Stability: Extensive fixes to scripting tools, server stability, and asset management within the Portal editor.
Technical Deep Dive: Weapon Handling
As part of Update 1.2.1.0, we have overhauled the recoil compensation system. Previously, the input required to counter recoil didn’t always align with the weapon’s physical movement, leading to erratic handling. This update creates a 1:1 relationship between applied recoil and aim compensation, resulting in more reliable gunplay.
Additionally, we have retuned automatic weapons to better reflect their intended combat roles. High-damage weapons now require more recoil control, while lighter firearms offer superior ease of use at the cost of raw power.
