Amazon to Release Like A Dragon: Yakuza Series
The series adaptation of the well-known game series is based on the story of Yakuza 1 and will depict the life of Kazuma Kiryu.
The main character spends ten years in prison to protect his brother, only to discover that an internal conflict has begun within his clan.
The series is directed by Masaharu Take (“The Naked Director”), and the lead role is portrayed by actor Ryo Taketo.
The first season will consist of six episodes, set to be released on October 25 and November 1 on Amazon Prime Video.
