The battery life of the iPhone 15 line turned out to be more durable than previously assumed
Initially, Apple claimed that the iPhone 15/15 Pro battery would retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 500 full charging/discharging cycles. Over time, Apple conducted more extended tests and found out that the battery is actually twice as durable – up to 80% at 1000 full cycles.
According to Apple, its testing included 1000 charging/discharging cycles under various conditions, simulating the actual use of the smartphone.
Such results were achieved through regular updates of the battery components and power management system in each new iPhone model.
