
Karma’s redesign tones down the more playful, toy‑like elements and leans toward a disciplined, combat‑ready silhouette. The result reads more like a field operative than an overenthusiastic arcade player.
Harper’s appearance has been softened as well: boxy shapes and the vacant expression have been reduced in favor of a more natural posture and facial detail that better suit the Black Ops aesthetic.
T.E.D.D. remains clearly mechanical, but its look has been refined — shifting away from a rudimentary, uncanny prototype toward a more polished, era‑appropriate automaton. The change echoes earlier franchise designs and makes the character feel less out of place alongside the other Operators.
“No changes have been applied to Reaper,” Activision confirms — the death bot’s appearance will remain as originally shown.
“As these elements are being implemented currently, this means that all Vault Edition content will not be usable in the Black Ops 7 Beta,” Activision adds. “However, Vault Edition owners can look forward to deploying with these four Operators and Mastercrafts at game launch on November 14.”
