Revealed last month via a tweet from the official Bandai Namco Entertainment account, the “Top Gun Maverick” DLC is getting its very first trailer today. Rather logical when you know that the film arrives on the big screen in a few days, on May 25 very precisely, and that this is the opportunity to promote this long-awaited partnership. Called “Aircraft DLC Teaser”, this DLC will allow us to pilot the F-18 of Pete “Maverick”, alias Tom Cruise at the cinema. So certainly, the American actor was not modeled in the game (it would have cost far too much), but we will find the whole squad of the film, with no doubt the possibility of redoing some memorable scenes that we were able to see last week.
Okay #TopGunMaverick is basic in its narrative, and it’s also Cruise’s biggest ego trip, but it also redefines the meaning of the word spectacle.
