Zach Bryan Teases New Track That Calls Out ICE
By Billboard • June 28, 2025 — London, England

Zach Bryan offered a brief, raw preview of an unreleased song in a recent Instagram post, using a voice-note snippet to share a politically charged glimpse of his new material.
Over his trademark rootsy guitar and restrained drums, Bryan intones a line that rails against law enforcement: a rough refrain that, in the clip, suggests contempt for aggressive policing. The moment is delivered in his characteristic, unaffected style.
The snippet then explicitly calls out U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In the post and the lyrics, Bryan touches on the agency’s stepped-up enforcement actions — developments that have prompted protests across the country and drawn criticism from many artists and advocates.
“And ICE is gonna come bust down your door / Try to build a house no one builds no more… The middle finger’s rising, and it won’t stop showing / Got some bad news / The fading of the red, white and blue.”
Bryan echoed the clip’s closing line in the post caption: “The fading of the red, white and blue.” He did not announce a release date for the full song.
The preview arrives amid heated debate over immigration enforcement. In a recent appearance on “The Benny Show,” political adviser Corey Lewandowski argued that immigration officers would be deployed at major events — a remark that fueled further controversy and conversation about how enforcement is being carried out in public spaces.
Fans are still waiting for the complete track. Bryan’s most recent studio album, The Great American Bar Scene, arrived last July and reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
