Helldivers are called upon to spearhead a massive planetary liberation effort.
Arrowhead Game Studios has officially launched a new seasonal event in Helldivers 2 titled the “Festival of Reckoning.”
Throughout the festivities, players are tasked with reclaiming occupied territories. To bolster the war effort, High Command is granting temporary access to various stratagems, allowing Helldivers to test out gear from several premium Warbonds at no additional cost.
In this grand celebration of seasonal commerce and brief respite, Helldivers must ensure the total number of liberated worlds exceeds our losses. For every planet reclaimed beyond those ceded to the enemy, consumer discounts will be expanded. However, should losses mount, a Patriotic VAT will be implemented to cover the rising costs of defense. High Command has chosen to support this spirited display of goodwill and ammunition expenditure by providing several ‘Gifts of Retribution’ to be deployed throughout the festival.
The “Festival of Reckoning” event in Helldivers 2 is scheduled to run through December 31.
