The upcoming Concert for Altadena has officially expanded its star-studded roster, bringing more musical heavyweights together to support Californians impacted by last year’s catastrophic wildfires.

Joining the lineup for the January 7, 2026, event at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium are Rufus Wainwright, indie-pop duo Lucius, folk-rockers Lord Huron, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. The benefit, which aims to provide relief for those devastated by the Eaton Fire, will be hosted by acclaimed actor and Altadena resident John C. Reilly, who personally lost his home in the disaster.

A Community United by Music

The event is spearheaded by the band Dawes and features a high-caliber list of previously announced performers, including Brad Paisley and The Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers. The diverse bill also includes legendary voices and contemporary stars such as Jackson Browne, Stephen Stills, Jenny Lewis, Mandy Moore, Aloe Blacc, Eric Krasno, Judith Hill, Everclear, and Ozomatli.

All proceeds from the evening will be funneled directly into the Altadena Builds Back Foundation. This fund is vital for the reconstruction of the community after the Eaton Fire claimed 19 lives, displaced over 100,000 people, and incinerated nearly 9,500 structures.

“January 7th marks exactly one year since our cherished town was ravaged by the Eaton Fire,” Dawes shared via Instagram. “It is going to be a heavy night, but a beautiful one as well.”

Personal Loss and Resilience

For Dawes members and brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, the tragedy hits incredibly close to home. In the aftermath of the blaze, Griffin revealed that his family had “lost everything,” including their primary residence. Taylor Goldsmith also faced significant devastation, as the fire destroyed his home studio along with a substantial portion of the band’s professional recording gear.

Despite these personal setbacks, the band has remained a focal point for regional healing. At the most recent Grammy Awards, Dawes led a moving tribute to Southern California with a performance of “I Love L.A.,” accompanied by an ensemble of icons including John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, St. Vincent, and Brad Paisley.
