Ciara Miller Reveals She Wants to Dance to Sabrina Carpenter Song on DWTS After Summer House Drama

Ciara Miller might use a Sabrina Carpenter song for her first dance on Dancing With the Stars.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published Wednesday (Sept. 2), the reality star reacted to audience members asking her and professional partner Brandon Armstrong to dance to “Taste” for their first televised performance. “Oh my gosh!” Miller gasped. “That is so funny. That is amazing.”

“The audience is messy!” she said, considering the idea. “I love it. Messy boots.”

Earlier this year, Miller’s personal life became a pop culture topic after it emerged that her Summer House castmates Amanda Batula and West Wilson started a relationship without telling her. Because Batula was her friend and Wilson was her ex, Miller felt hurt and betrayed by the situation, addressing it during the season reunion in May.

Fans noted that “Taste” fits the situation. Carpenter sings on the Short n’ Sweet track, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024, about being gone while someone else is still nearby and telling a former partner that they will experience a connection to her through their current partner.

Armstrong supports the song choice. “I’m just here for support and vibes,” he told ET. “I’m just down.”

“We’re gonna leave it all out on the dance floor,” Miller added. “It’s gonna be healing. We’re gonna cry, we’re gonna laugh. It’s gonna be a good time.”

The interview accompanied the announcement of the full DWTS season 35 cast on the same day. Other competing contestants include Taylor Hanson, Guillermo Rodriguez, Maura Higgins, Harry Shum Jr., Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, Tyler Cameron, and Conner Leavitt.
