Cardi B revealed her youngest son’s name and face for the first time as she celebrated his first birthday. The rapper shares the boy, Grey M.D, with football player Stefon Diggs.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (Nov. 4), Cardi shared photos of Grey in several outfits, including a green snapback and diamond chains in one and a beanie and striped overalls in another. “Happy 1st birthday to Grey M.D🩶🩶🩶!!” she wrote.
“It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever,” she continued. “I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength . I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!”
“You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like,” she added. “You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit.”
The post also included photos of what appeared to be Grey’s Halloween 2026 costume: surgeon scrubs and a white doctor’s coat, with the Grey’s Anatomy logo in the background.
Grey is Cardi’s fourth child and her first with Diggs. She also shares daughters Kulture and Blossom and son Wave with her estranged husband, Offset.
Cardi and Diggs began dating in spring 2025 and went Instagram official that June. She revealed her pregnancy a few months later and announced Grey’s birth on Nov. 13, 2025.
Their relationship hit a rough patch in February 2026. At a concert that month, Cardi told fans, “Just because I ain’t f–king with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy.”
They appeared to be on and off over the following months, and their relationship now seems to be limited to coparenting. A couple of months before the birthday post, the pair had prompted fans to correctly guess their son’s name by both wearing jewelry spelling out “Grey.”
