Hitsujibungaku, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Otoboke Beaver to Play Japanese Music Showcase matsuri ’26 in London

Hitsujibungaku, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Otoboke Beaver will perform at matsuri ‘26: Japanese Music Experience LONDON on Dec. 14 at Outernet Live in London.

CEIPA and TOYOTA GROUP “MUSIC WAY PROJECT” present the showcase. The initiative was launched to bring more Japanese content to audiences worldwide and aims to build a “way” forward with young artists shaping Japanese music’s future, as well as support the music’s globalization and sustainable growth.

matsuri debuted in Los Angeles in March 2025. The London show will be its second edition and first in Europe. A Bangkok edition is planned for February 2027.

Live Nation’s presale begins Nov. 5 at 10 a.m., followed by the general on-sale Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. An industry mixer called tsudoi, co-hosted with JETRO, will also take place on the day of the show.

“I’m so excited to be performing in London again for the first time in a year!” Kyary Pamyu Pamyu said in a statement. “I’m especially looking forward to sharing the stage this time with such a wonderfully diverse group of Japanese female artists, each with their own unique character and style. I’ll give it everything I’ve got to share the magic of Japanese music with everyone in London!”

Otoboke Beaver added: “Hello! We’re OTOBOKE BEAVER from Japan! We’re honored and excited to be asked to play matsuri LONDON. We’re traveling all the way to London especially for this event, and we look forward to seeing everyone there. See you under the mirror ball!”
