The chaotic state of the update is testing player loyalty. In a vocal Reddit thread, one user noted that the current instability is “not a good look for Midnight,” while others responded with cynical memes about Blizzard’s track record. However, for some, the recurring technical failures are no longer a laughing matter.
“I’ve been here since 2004,” one frustrated player remarked in the thread. “At this point, I simply expect them to strive for a higher standard for once.”
The *Midnight* expansion, which is set to introduce the highly anticipated player housing feature, is scheduled to launch in full on March 2.
Production directors have already dubbed *Midnight* the team’s “best expansion ever,” with some suggesting it could be the most defining moment for the MMO in over a decade.
