Valve moderation derails action-RPG Steam release, while Duet Night Abyss hits Epic Games Store

The anticipated launch of the title on Valve’s digital storefront has encountered unexpected hurdles.

Duet Night Abyss was originally slated for a late December debut on PC via Steam. However, the schedule has shifted, and the release has been officially pushed back.

Although the game’s store page remains live, the development team issued a formal statement explaining that additional time is required to meet specific “platform requirements”:

[…] we regret to announce that the Steam launch has been rescheduled, as finalizing the necessary administrative procedures requires additional time. This decision was made to ensure full compliance with platform standards and to provide a seamless technical experience for our players. We understand that this may be disappointing for those who have been looking forward to the Steam release, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration caused. Rest assured, the core game content is fully prepared, and we are actively working to complete the Steam transition as quickly as possible.

While Steam users must wait a bit longer, Duet Night Abyss is already accessible via Steam’s primary rival, the Epic Games Store.
