Solidaires Informatique voiced their defiance, stating, “We will not permit a leader who has lost touch to jeopardize our working environment. He needs to be reminded that it is the developers, not him, who build these games.”

An anonymous staff representative was even more blunt in their criticism. “It’s absurd,” they told BFM TV, questioning whether Guillemot’s goal is financial efficiency or simply purging staff. They further argued that the CEO should be ousted, claiming his current trajectory is “sabotaging the company’s future.”
