Anticipation is high for several key features, specifically regarding social inclusivity. The 3DS predecessor lacked options for same-sex relationships, a point that drew significant criticism at the time. In response, Nintendo pledged that any future entry in the series would be designed from the ground up to be more inclusive and representative of all players. Fans are hopeful that this sequel will finally deliver on that promise, allowing for a more diverse range of romantic connections between Miis.
