Fox also reflected on the rapid pace of the series’ evolution. He noted how surreal it feels that while fans were limited to Chapters 1 and 2 just six months ago, much of his development staff is already shifting their focus toward the enigmatic Chapter 6. He concluded his update with a breakdown of the current build’s status.
According to Fox, nearly all of the game’s environments are finished, pending some final artistic polish for the backgrounds. Most cinematic sequences are complete, with only a handful requiring visual touch-ups. On the gameplay side, the majority of combat encounters are fully functional, though a few require balancing adjustments to their rhythm and bullet sequences. Fox promises that the new content will offer “hours of fun.”
While the recent release of Chapters 3 and 4, along with Nintendo Switch 2 updates, provided a wealth of content, the anticipation for Chapter 5 remains high. We will be closely monitoring any further updates as the development team nears the finish line.
