We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the feedback you’ve provided here on Steam and on https://houseflipper2.canny.io/. Many of your ideas and suggestions are reflected in this update, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with our community to deliver new content to House Flipper 2.
- A new task: “Setting my new garden right” in Old Pinnacove, unlockable after concluding “New walls, new me”.
- A new property: “The Alligator Bar” in Old Pinnacove, unlocked post completing the new task.
- A gallery with saved Before & After photos, allowing you to relish (or reconsider) your renovation decisions anytime.
- Lawn mowing! Accessible in the tool menu post completing the new task or by purchasing a lawnmower from the store.
- A tool in Sandbox mode to establish lawn mowing quests. Set it down, and players will need to mow the lawn until it reaches Tidy or lower.
- Over 200 new items! (Details below)
- A new Sandbox mode tool called Visual Effects for adding elements like falling leaves 🙂
- Additional types of trash! Includes eggshells and more leftover pizza
- Items can be locked until you discover the key! Configure this in Sandbox/Edit Level mode using the Edit Wiring tool. Connect the Key (from the store) to an item like a door. In Flipper mode, players must locate the key to unlock the door! Perfect for puzzles and other enigmas 😉
- A fresh main menu for spring 🙂
- Organize store items by size
Alterations:
- Disabling automatic Sandbox saves also turns off autosaves when returning to the main menu. Exercise caution! Manually save if needed!
- The Quests view in the tablet displays the number of rooms with pending tasks
- Properties and tasks now offer subtle audio-visual effects like rustling leaves for enhancing atmosphere 🙂
- Windows can now be cleaned from both sides.
- Window cleaning only requires cleaning visibly dirty parts
- New loading screen tips
- The Flipper Tool/Duplicate now includes an “Open in store” option for items. The Flipper Tool/Copy style retains the “Open in store” option for surface finishes like paint and wallpaper.
- The “Just like dominoes” perk for surface finishes now illustrates lines indicating the tiling direction
- Certain developer codes have been disabled for your safety – apologies!
- Various UI and gamepad enhancements.
- The entire mod.io view has been revamped
- SSO login support added for mod.io
Item Modifications:
- Color palettes now range from bright Pure colors to muted Drab
- Introduced new TV channels, including a broken screen and NO SIGNAL
- Billiard balls can now be placed within the billiard triangle
- “Building molding Jungfrau” pieces are now rebranded to reflect different types. Introducing the Arch, Cube, Prism, and more!
- Path rocks and slabs now sink into the ground
Over 200 Items! This Includes:
- Four new designs for wallpapers and furniture
- Four new surface finishes
- 2-meter and 4-meter ladders
- Doorbells – Ding dong!
- Four new garden fences
- Swing chairs and a hammock for relaxing in the garden
- Garden embellishments and accessories – hose, birdbath, figurines, etc.
- Garden paths! Lay them using path rocks or path slabs that integrate into the soil
- Garden structures! Decks, pavilions, arches, etc.
- A brand new cozy bicycle
- Ornamental flora – Ficus tree, ZZ plant
- Shrubs and trees – Lilac, Cherry blossom in various sizes
- 38 new lamps across multiple collections, primarily in Skadi, Futuro, Homefort, and Extravaganza styles
- Adjustable LED light strip!
- Modular sauna sets include doors, floor panels, benches, heaters, and accessories
- Public restroom sets, complete with hand dryers and a urinal
- A massage table
- Numerous spice jars and racks to liven up your kitchen
- A bedroom collection for Skadi/Kirsikkapuu
- Two beds without frames
- Patio chairs and a coffee table for Valenti/Chambord
- Living room seating and tables for Homefort/Byron
- Many premium standalone picture frames
- New posters, decorative eggs, figurines, and wall art
- Three arcade machines
- An air hockey kit
- Newly added tools such as wrenches
- First aid and fire extinguisher kits
Co-op Enhancements:
- Player avatars now feature profile images in the lobby.
- Emotes! Communicate without words!
- Player nicknames are displayed above their avatars, making identification easier.
- If errors occur during parcel loading or switching, players won’t be trapped in an endless loading screen — they will be smoothly disconnected instead.
- Most achievements are now functional in co-op mode (only one last one pending implementation).
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved placement challenges with moldings. They should now operate smoothly.
- [Assembly] The cursor correctly disappears when using a hammer.
- [Assembly] Screw progress is now visible.
