The Adventures of a Person with Schizophrenia: Black Ops 7 Developers Reveal the Endgame of the New Call of Duty

Players will tackle missions across a vast map known as “Avalon”.

After finishing the main campaign (11 missions), Black Ops 7 unlocks the expansive “Avalon” map for a 32-player PvE epilogue. The endgame blends aspects of Modern Warfare 2’s DMZ and the Zombies mode from Modern Warfare 3, sending players to complete objectives while exploring numerous points of interest, scavenging loot, and confronting various enemy types — including zombies (apparently characters may be exposed to a perception-altering gas that causes them to see things that aren’t actually there). For expeditions you can choose either one of the campaign’s primary protagonists or any multiplayer character, then level them up to enhance their attributes. The objective is to survive and extract with your loot; if you die, you forfeit everything.

The developers say players will be able to fully upgrade weapons, their profile, and the battle pass within the endgame, and they’ve confirmed that “Avalon” will receive new seasonal content in Black Ops 7.
