“Tempest Rising,” the Heir to Command & Conquer, Receives Major Update With AI Improvements and New Maps

The developers continue to refine the strategy game and introduce new features.

The team behind the real-time strategy title Tempest Rising has released the “Customization Update.”

The update brings several balance tweaks, along with:

• Expanded customization options and Skirmish mode settings (including speed controls)
• Enhancements to the AI and multiple AI behavior profiles (Standard, Aggressive, Defensive)
• A new Casual difficulty level for AI in Skirmish mode
• Three rebuilt maps — Plane Crash, Emergence, and Reclamation — taken from campaign missions and now available for Custom and Skirmish matches
