Fantasy Life i Builds on Success: 1.5 Million Copies Sold and a Major Update

Fantasy Life i has officially surpassed the milestone of 1.5 million copies sold. To commemorate this achievement, Level-5 released a special piece of celebratory artwork as a gesture of gratitude to the community. The developers also took the opportunity to highlight the recent launch of a substantial free DLC, which significantly expands the game’s core features.

Additionally, the studio confirmed that the title is currently featured in a promotional sale, providing an excellent opportunity for newcomers to join the adventure at a discounted price.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time acts as the long-awaited successor to the original Fantasy Life, which first captured hearts on the Nintendo 3DS. This latest entry debuted on May 21, 2025, across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Notably, the Nintendo Switch 2 version followed shortly after on June 5, serving as one of the flagship titles for the new hardware’s launch.

The experience seamlessly blends life-simulation mechanics with traditional role-playing elements, granting players the freedom to transition between 14 unique “Lives”—ranging from combat-focused roles like the Paladin to more serene occupations such as the Cook. This impressive sales momentum was further fueled by the release of “The Sinister Broker Bazario’s Schemes,” a free update that arrived just days before the sales milestone was announced.
