Dark Messiah Successor Gets Easier Combat in Fatekeeper Update
Fatekeeper has received its first major update, making combat noticeably more comfortable by weakening archers, buffing spells, increasing the hero’s movement speed by 15%, and bringing back the talkative guide rat.
Fatekeeper received its first major update featuring combat system improvements, controller support, increased movement speed, and other changes.
The developers nerfed archers, whose accuracy caused players significant trouble, and increased the range of certain spells, including Firespark. Damage from Tremor and Elemental Fortress increased, allowing players to stun enemies more frequently. The character’s movement speed was increased by 15%.
The developers also improved the camera during attacks, weapon sway, and visual feedback when hitting enemies. Some chests and containers now contain more valuable rewards.
Among the changes, the creators specifically noted the return of the guide rat, which accompanies the player and comments on ongoing events.
The update should make battles more comfortable and the game world more detailed compared to the initial early access version.
