The game launched on October 9 — better late than never.
The eerie platformer Little Nightmares 3 has premiered its launch trailer. The title is available on PC and across two console generations from Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Reviewers praised the game’s atmosphere, visual direction, and audio design, but faulted the developers for a lack of innovation.
Play as Maly and One — two close friends who once roamed barren lands separately. Each carries a favored weapon: Maly wields a bow, while One uses a wrench. Together they fight to survive, slipping through hidden passages, overcoming obstacles, and protecting one another. To clear the way and uncover secrets you’ll need to depend not only on your own skill but also on your partner, whether that partner is a friend or an AI-controlled companion. Along the way you’ll discover many hints and shortcuts that clever children can exploit. Maly’s bow can topple high targets, sever ropes, and strike flying foes, while One’s wrench finishes off stunned enemies, smashes barriers, and operates massive mechanisms.
