Starfield update of December 11, 2023

In an update (version 1.8.88) available to all players, we’ve fixed several bugs, improving your gaming experience. In particular, we’ve fixed a critical issue causing crashes in the Xbox and Microsoft Store versions, improved the functionality of weapon crates in outposts, and removed the bizarre “pet rock” in space.

Enhancements and Bug Fixes

1. Gameplay Tweaks:
   • Solved a glitch where space debris clung to ships during space travel. Loading a save will now clear any accumulated debris. Note: This fix doesn’t apply to debris involving New Atlantis – that’s slated for a future update.
2. Outpost Improvements:
   • Addressed a bug that blocked random weapons from appearing in new Weapon Cases after loading a game save.
3. Save/Load Stability:
   • [For MSS/Xbox] Rectified a crash issue when saving during extended play sessions, especially those bypassing the Unity process.
