Soon in GTA Online: Lamar vs. Gangs in “Convoy” Mode and More

Together with the presentation of new items, the developers shared a small announcement of what will be added to GTA Online in the near future. According to them, we can expect a “smoke-filled version of the ‘Convoy’ mode, exciting community challenges, and holiday events.” The first definitely relates to 420 Day (celebrated on 04/20) and will likely debut a month later on April 17th.

Much more information was provided back on December 31st by user @affmalyt, who accurately predicted the roadmap of new features for ‘Online’. He was absolutely right about the arrival of themed stunt races for the Lunar New Year as well as the release month and number of missions in the second part of the winter update. However, that could have been a lucky guess based on past experiences.

As for the new variation of the adversary mode involving Lamar, Ballas, and Vagos, it was unlikely something that could be guessed out of thin air. Apparel dedicated to 420 will likely be included as well. And if we believe the source, the summer DLC is planned for June, although that’s a typical month for a GTA Online update.
