Rumor: Next Resident Evil in development for seven years, may release in January 2025
Insider Dusk Golem reported on social media X/Twitter that the new installment of Resident Evil will be announced soon, possibly at one of the summer conferences.
According to his information, the game has been in development for 7 years. This is a very ambitious project with the biggest budget in the franchise’s history and an open world.
It is also known that in early 2023, Capcom approved the development of several unannounced games for the franchise.
The release of the new Resident Evil is planned for January 2025.
