Nesmith left the studio during the midpoint of the space epic’s production, giving him a unique perspective as both a creator and a player. “I played the game to its absolute conclusion. While I have my own critiques and observations, the fact that I saw it through to the end is a significant win for Bethesda,” he explained. Despite his small grievances, he felt the sci-fi setting was a “natural fit” for the team and expressed confidence that a potential sequel would be a massive success, as the developers can now refine and perfect the foundations they have established.
