Shooter “Spell Trigger” Combines Magic and Firearms
Indie studio Tosca Orca has revealed Spell Trigger, a third-person shooter that integrates magic into its core combat. The title is in development for PC, and an exact release date has not yet been announced.
Spell Trigger delivers a high-energy mix of precision gunplay and explosive sorcery. Players take on the role of Vivian, a Guardian of the Magus, chosen to stand against a looming catastrophe.
Wielding the Spell Trigger — a weapon that fuses contemporary firearms technology with concentrated arcane energy — Vivian confronts an otherworldly force responsible for a strange wave of sleep and death that imperils humanity. Combat blends shooting and spellcasting: players can fire their weapon, unleash spells, and chain abilities for powerful combos. The game supports multiplayer co-op so you can team up with friends to tackle missions together. Progression and customization systems let you develop your character, acquire new spells, and enhance your arsenal.
The story campaign promises to immerse players in a world threatened by a clandestine faction known as Entropy, with missions that gradually reveal the lore of the Order of Magi.
