Tony Tony Chopper has finally resurfaced in the spotlight as Netflix ramps up the promotional cycle for the second season of the live-action One Piece series.
Netflix has unveiled a captivating new featurette for the upcoming season, placing the focus firmly on the Straw Hat crew’s beloved reindeer physician. This marks the character’s first significant appearance in marketing materials in over half a year, following a fleeting glimpse in a teaser released back in June.
Debuting during the Jump Festa ’26 festivities, the footage introduces the diverse voice cast tasked with bringing the character to life across various languages. Longtime fans will be pleased to note that in the Japanese version, Chopper is once again voiced by Ikue Otani, who continues her iconic portrayal from the original One Piece anime.
The highly anticipated second season is scheduled to premiere on March 10, 2026. The upcoming narrative will span the events from the Loguetown Arc through to the emotional Drum Island Arc. As Luffy’s crew navigates the treacherous Grand Line, they will journey through Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Twin Cape, encountering a host of formidable adversaries and new allies along the way.
Demonstrating high confidence in the franchise, Netflix has already commenced production on the third season. Filming is currently underway in Cape Town, though an official release window for those subsequent chapters has yet to be disclosed.
