The mobile version of Red Dead Redemption has received a fresh update focused on squashing bugs and refining overall optimization.
According to reports from RockstarIntel, the latest patch for Red Dead Redemption on mobile platforms introduces a series of technical polishments aimed at improving the user experience.
Although Rockstar Games has not released an exhaustive changelog, players are reporting that persistent black screen glitches have been rectified and frame-rate stutters have been significantly reduced. Furthermore, the update appears to have sharpened visual fidelity and boosted system performance across the board. Notably, these optimizations have extended to older hardware, with tangible improvements observed on devices like the Exynos 2100-powered Samsung Galaxy S21.
RockstarIntel also highlighted that despite initial skepticism surrounding the mobile port, Red Dead Redemption emerged as one of the most successful premium releases on mobile storefronts this December. This strong commercial performance could encourage Rockstar to further embrace mobile platforms, potentially leading to the porting of other classic titles from their extensive catalog.
