Prototype of the First Russian Flying Car Unveiled

The Filatov Design Bureau has unveiled the IF-9, a prototype car-quadcopter.

The IF-9 features two standard pairs of wheels as well as engines with propellers on foldable, rotating arms.

The propeller engines and wheel drive can operate using electric, hydraulic, or hydrogen power sources.

A two-seater platform with seats is raised by pressing a button on the key, simultaneously opening the canopy and extending the footrests. It then lowers back into the cabin.

Remote-controlled testing will begin this month.
