Actors Noomi Rapace and Sean Harris, who starred in Ridley Scott’s horror film “Prometheus,” have joined the cast of the “Assassin’s Creed” series based on the video game of the same name.

Previously, Toby Wallace and Lola Petticrew were announced as the project leads. Other newcomers to the cast include Ramzy Bedia and Corrado Invernizzi.

The show will be released on Netflix, though the exact date has not been specified. The series creators are Robert Patino (“Westworld”) and David Wiener (“Halo”). Emmy winner Johan Renck (“Chernobyl”) will direct the show.

The original Assassin’s Creed was released in 2007. The plot told the story of a long-standing struggle between Assassins and Templars, who preach different values. The most famous adaptation is the 2016 film starring Michael Fassbender.

“Prometheus” debuted on screens in 2012. The Alien prequel became the highest-grossing film in the franchise ($403 million at the worldwide box office).
