Metroid Dread: a new trailer with a distraught Samus Aran

Announced in the middle of E3 2021 where it created frustration with Nintendo fans who would have preferred the reveal of Metroid Prime 4, Metroid Dread is back this weekend with a new trailer. The idea is to prove that the game will not be just a simple action-adventure game, but will also have an interesting story to tell us. This will result in the presence of cutscenes that we can contemplate today, knowing that this episode seems to favor a darker atmosphere than the previous Metroid. We see a distraught Samus Aran who gives the impression of giving up at times. Fortunately, our heroine will be able to count on new abilities and new weapons. For example, there are the Aeion skills, an energy that Samus Aran can call upon to take advantage of additional skills, such as spectral camouflage which allows her to become invisible if she does not move. The release of Metroid Dread is scheduled for October 8 and the Mercury Steam studio is in charge of the project.
