Users of all iPhone 16 series models are complaining about rapid battery drain
On the MacRumors website, there is an entire thread where users are sharing details about the rapid battery drain. Initially, it focused on quick battery drain for previous generation models after updating to iOS 18, but since the release of iPhone 16, it has been filling with new posts.
Some users are resorting to quite drastic measures to fix the situation, but it doesn’t help: they’re not using 5G, disabling Always On, and even ProMotion (120 Hz).
Some noticed improved battery life after updating to iOS 18.0.1 and iOS 18.1 beta, but it didn’t work for everyone. It is likely that Apple will manage to fix the issue in one of the upcoming updates.
