Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds will add desert map in subsequent spherical of testing

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds’ check servers went offline on the weekend, casting gamers again to a world the place climbing over fences is one thing individuals can solely dream about. It’s a time for mourning, then, but in addition for celebration, because the test servers will be coming back, and with them will come the long-anticipated desert map and a brand new shotgun.

I’ve gotten myself right into a little bit of a Plunkbat rut, so I’ve not been taking part in a lot these days. Despite the occasional hen dinner, I believe I would really be getting worse, and I’ve began to get a bit bitter. A brand new place to homicide individuals, or be murdered, feels like simply the panacea I’ve been ready for.

Here’s some arid screenshots to whet your urge for food.

From what’s been proven off, the desert appears simply as diversified because the island we’re extra acquainted with. There are loads of horrifyingly flat stretches the place working throughout them certainly spells loss of life, however there are additionally small, ramshackle cities and even some built-up areas that look excellent for snipers.

As for the gun, nicely, it’s a shotgun, isn’t it? That’s about all I can inform you as a person who has seen an image. Honestly, I’d be happier with fewer shotguns. I nearly at all times appear to begin off with one earlier than getting taken out by somebody I may by no means hope to succeed in with my foolish short-ranged weapon. On the topic of death-dealing devices, right here’s our weapon guide.

There’s no date for the following spherical of testing however provided that Plunkbat is because of depart early entry this month, we are able to assume it’s coming very quickly.
