Players warned ‘Sparta 2035’ developers about timer problem — a feature to disable timers is now in development

Developers are preparing patches to fix issues and introduce improvements.

The full release of the turn-based tactics title “Sparta 2035” (also known as Sparta 2035) launched recently. Players have shared feedback, and the developers have outlined several plans.

Upcoming updates are expected to include:

  • an option to disable mission timers in the game’s difficulty settings — players will be able to choose whether to keep or remove timers on “Clearance” and “Escort” missions. Some community members criticized the timer mechanic back in early access.
  • rebalancing — the number of enemies in missions, especially during the game’s early months, will be reduced and the overall starting difficulty lowered; an option to increase enemy counts will also be provided.
  • missions versus other factions (Front, Cai Shen, Shield) will have significantly smaller enemy squad sizes during the early stages of the campaign.
  • an economic rebalance to raise mission payouts and increase the player’s starting funds.
