Phoenix Labs, a recreation studio based by ex-Riot staff, has unveiled its first title.
Dauntless is a free-to-play PC recreation. No precise gameplay was proven.
Phoenix Labs formed back in August 2014, and has now expanded to 40 staff.
A glance by means of their Twitter archive reveals that, again in 2015, they have been engaged on one thing known as Archon, which is the Greek phrase for ‘ruler’. Whether or not this is similar factor, or if it has any ties to the old Amiga game stays to be seen.

Polygon has gotten its palms on a couple of extra particulars: the sport is a four-player co-op motion title by which you craft weapons and go after large monsters. It will probably be set in a post-apocalyptic world made up of quite a few floating islands.
Phoenix Labs’ assertion of intent is outlaid on their web site: “we makes games because we love them, and believe that people are the ends, not the means”.
Dauntless is due for launch in 2017.
