“It is a thrilling era for indie development, and I’ve gained an immense amount of knowledge over the past five years,” said CEO Daniel Knight, who originally started his career as a solo developer. “Our growth as a company has put us in a position where we can finally mentor other studios and offer the kind of support I wish I had at the beginning of my own journey.”

Marketing Director Asim Tanvir echoed these sentiments, stating that the new label seeks to “join the ranks of supportive indie publishers who prioritize and foster creative freedom.” This strategic move mirrors the paths taken by other breakout hits; both Palworld and Among Us established similar initiatives following their global success.

Pocketpair Publishing (the team behind Palworld) and Outersloth (an indie fund born from Among Us) have been actively supporting developers for over a year. These efforts have already resulted in a diverse catalog of highly-rated, uniquely experimental, and intriguing new titles.

Despite this expansion into publishing, nothing is changing for the core Kinetic Games development team. With over 25 million copies of their co-op horror hit sold, the studio remains “entirely focused on Phasmophobia” and its Early Access roadmap. Fans can look forward to a new map and the much-anticipated Chronicle Update later this year.
