Peak Patch Adds Player Kicking and Scalable Snowballs, but Be Warned: Scout Kicks are Permanent

The update also introduces several quality-of-life refinements, particularly regarding the reconnection system. Players can now return as active scouts rather than lingering as ghosts, provided the party manages a revival at their current campfire. Furthermore, the timing for interacting with scorpions has been tweaked, giving you a precious moment to fling them away before they can land a sting.

In a minor aesthetic change, rich text tags have been removed from player names to maintain visual consistency. On a more playful note, the update adds a wintery mechanic: you can now roll snowballs across the ground, watching them grow in size as they accumulate mass—a small but charming addition to the game’s physics.

Looking forward, Peak is set to receive its final biome later this year. Aggro Crab has also confirmed that upcoming patches will continue to address community-requested features, all while the studio quietly develops a secret new project that remains under wraps for now.
