The shortlist for the 24th edition of the Golden Eagle Awards, Russia’s premier cinematic honor, has been officially released. The laureates are set to be announced during a gala ceremony in Moscow on January 30.
Leading the pack with a staggering 14 nominations is the musical The Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin. Also vying for the title of Best Feature Film are August, Batya 2: Grandfather, Summer Will End, and Kraken.
