Anime enthusiasts are in for an action-packed winter season.
Studio MAPPA has unveiled a brand-new trailer for the second season of “Hell’s Paradise.” The teaser provides a fresh look at the upcoming installment and introduces viewers to two formidable new Lord Tensens—Tao Fa and Ju Fa.
The trailer also features a preview of the opening theme song, “Kasuka na Hana,” performed by Tatsuya Kitani in collaboration with the world-renowned kawaii-metal group BABYMETAL.
Based on the manga by Yuji Kaku, the story follows a group of death-row convicts and their executioners as they are dispatched to a lethal, mysterious island. Their mission: to retrieve the Elixir of Life for the Shogun. The protagonist, a lethal ninja named Gabimaru, must fight for survival while discovering that the island harbors secrets far more terrifying than anyone expected.
Kaori Makita returns to direct the second season, with Akira Kindaichi overseeing the scripts. Koji Hisaki remains the character designer, and Yoshiaki Dewa once again provides the musical score.
The sequel is set to premiere on January 11, 2026. International distribution will be handled by streaming giants Crunchyroll and Netflix.
