Intel Arc B580 Sales Surge in Germany for the First Time, Outpacing Radeon RX 9070 and RTX 5060 Ti 8GB

According to the latest figures from German retailer Mindfactory, the Intel Arc B580 has successfully outperformed several 8GB competitors in sales volume, including AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB.

While AMD and NVIDIA typically dominate the sales charts, leaving Intel at the bottom of the rankings, this week saw a shift. The Arc B580 climbed to 12th place, moving approximately 40 units. While this is modest compared to frontrunners like the RX 9070 XT, which sells by the hundreds, it marks a significant improvement over previous months when Intel products were virtually invisible in these statistics.

In 2025, the market appeal of 8GB graphics cards is rapidly declining. Modern titles demand higher VRAM capacities, leading consumers to increasingly favor models equipped with 12GB or more. The Arc B580 comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, positioning it as a more attractive option for 1440p gaming without the risk of hitting memory bottlenecks.

This trend does not suggest that Intel is poised to overtake the industry giants anytime soon; AMD and NVIDIA still maintain a firm grip on the market, and Intel’s shipment volumes remain relatively small. However, the burgeoning interest in Intel’s GPU lineup is a notable development—particularly in a market segment where the company was previously not viewed as a serious contender.
