Hotfix Version 1.2.3f1
Greetings, everyone,

We are excited to announce that Hotfix 1.2.3.f1 is now live, bringing a plethora of enhancements and corrections to gameplay, user interface, and modding. This update also includes some refinements to Urban Promenades and Modern Architecture.

Let’s delve into the detailed patch notes below!

Known Issues:

  • As a result of alterations to mortality probability, cities housing numerous seniors might see a rise in unemployment, as all elder citizens have been rejuvenated to sustain population levels and mitigate a surge in the death rate. Consequently, as some rejoin the workforce (with a portion opting to stay retired), unemployment levels might fluctuate based on the city’s job market.
  • The senior population in the city is anticipated to decline significantly. However, as the populace matures and the new death probability metrics take effect, the level will stabilize at a more sensible figure than before.

Modern Architecture Adjustments & Enhancements:

  • Minor rectifications and balance adjustments to vehicle capacities, maintenance costs, and workplaces.
  • Introduced designated parking for service vehicles.

Urban Promenades Adjustments & Enhancements:

  • Minor rectifications and balance adjustments to vehicle capacities, maintenance costs, and workplaces.
  • Introduced designated parking for service vehicles.

  • Refined the mortality probability curve to ensure citizens pass away at appropriate ages.
    • Current senior citizens have been rejuvenated to ages between young adulthood and mid-level seniors.

    • Removed deceased citizens who had yet to be allocated a hearse.
  • Resolved crash issues from missing zone types upon building level-up.
  • Fixed the fluctuating electricity output of Hydroelectric Power Plants due to simulation speed by implementing a consistent flow rate.
  • Corrected an issue where police stations would fail to dispatch vehicles to crime scenes if no police cars were parked, even if a police helicopter was available.
  • Addressed connectivity problems when placing train stations over pre-existing tracks.
  • Adjusted floating or sunken service vehicle props when buildings are situated on uneven ground.
  • Tackled elevation errors when aligning roads beside parking lots.
